SPANISH FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. FIRST SEMESTER (2025/2026)

 COURSES AND SCHEDULE

 * Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación (Campus Muralla del Mar).

 * In these courses priority is given to erasmus and UPCT foreign students. 

REGISTRATION 

Erasmus students MUST:

   Do the placement test (it is a requirement for students who are not beginners).  Request form here

   Register through CAMPUS VIRTUAL.   

People with no employment relationship with the university and external students MUST: 

   Send an email to area-ele@upct.es

   Tell us  what course you would like to enrol and wait to receive an acceptance email before signing up for a course (you will be admitted if there are places available on the       courses). 

 If you get our confirmation email, follow the instructions below:

         - Sign up into UPCT through the following link: http://identidad.upct.es/registro?destino=https://campusvirtual.upct.es

         - Log in: https://campusvirtual.upct.es.

         - Go to cursos y actividades --> Cursos.

         - Select "Servicio de Idiomas", and the course you are interested in (click on the green cross).

 FEES

 Free for Erasmus; 45 euros non-erasmus UPCT students; 125 euros people with no employment relationship with the university and  external students. 

 Students with fewer economic opportunities who meet the current definition of the MEFP in the current or previous academic year, may apply for a refund of the tuition fee for   English courses (click here for more information)

COURSE DATES: 24/09/2025- 19/12/2025

FINAL EXAMS:  The last week of the course.

 Read this information carefully:

1. You have two classes per week.
2. Classes start on September 24. 
3. Classes end on December 19.
4. If  your Spanish classes clash with your other subjects,  speak to your  teacher.
5. If you want 2 ECTS to be recognized,  you need to attend 50% of classes (attendance at least once a week is compulsory) and pass a final exam, which will take place the last week of the course.
